Game 93 - vs. Beer Run|
The Os managed to stay close to Beer Run throughout their game, but the Os just could not hit the shots they needed to close the gap. Although the Os started a bit slow, trailing 22-13 at the half, they were consistent. Beer Run could not take a big lead, but the Os could not make a run.
At the beginning of the second half, the O-D locked down on Beer Run and stuck them on 24 points for nearly 5 minutes. However, during that time the Os were not able to tie the game or take the lead. As the game progressed, the Os managed to chip away but ultimately came up short.
In his first official game, Buckets joined the club of Os who have scored, getting on the board with a free throw and an Ophy vote. Roster Guard had a solid but unspectacular (for him) game with 6 points and 5 boards. E-Bomb put up a double-seis with 6 points and boards. Steve-O secured 3 Ophy votes with a solid inside game, posting 7 rebounds and tying the team record with 4 blocked shots in the first game sans Officer Giant.
All those performances were no match for the "Return of IverKen." Flying in from Miami, Os Legend IverKen managed to play in the game. Nearly tying the Ophy voting record with 8 votes, he had 5 points to go with 2 steals, his trademark. He also showed some of the "mad dribbling skillz" that Os fans have missed since his premature departure via free agency.
