Just one week after being featured in the Ventura County Star, the Os found themselves facing the author of their article and his Nothing To Lose team. The Os had a record-tying 10 players play in the game. This enabled a couple full-squad substitutions and other unique rotations. However, the end result of the game was not so satisfying. The Os' superior numbers could not offset the outside shooting of Nothing To Lose.

The Os used their fresh legs and inside power to set a team record with 55 rebounds, and another team record of 27 offensive rebounds. The presence of The Giant and Steve-O also combined to contribute 5 blocks. All these advantages were not enough to offset the shooting of nothing to lose and the surprisingly off balanced officiating. While the Os shot only 1 free throw for the whole game, Nothing To Lose had a seemingly endless parade of free throws, allowing them to maintain their lead.

Ophy voting came down to the Giant's domination of the inside versus Mr. Smooth's volleyball putbacks. At the end of the day, the Giant's 10 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks took home the Ophy. And None had another solid game with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Mr. Avocado had one of the better debuts in Os history, putting up 9 points and 7 rebounds (and keeping alive the tradition of every O scoring.
