The Os came into their game with Beer Run sporting a 2-1 record and the chance to post the first above 0.500 season in their 17th try. They were also trying to continue their recent run of success, winning 5 of their previous 6 games. The Os got off to some hot shooting to start the game, hitting several outside shots, before going into a classic O slump.

Despite the drought, the Os managed to stay ahead of Beer Run. The game seemed to be done when the Os decided to make free throw shooting a bit more exciting with some misses in the final minutes. Beer Run got close enough to tie the game before the Os finally got back on track (the good Os track, not the bad Os track).

After being robbed the previous week, Mr. Avocado left no doubt who the Ophy winner would be. His career high 14 points was good for 7 Ophy votes (also a career high). He shot so well in the first half (three straight 3s), the bench was heard to say, “Can’t go in for him, he’s too hot!” And None helped the Os cause with an Os record tying 6 assists, and Roster Guard chipped in 11 points. Also receiving votes were the Os cheerleaders, “money,” Jayme, and Lisa & Jayme (who the stats revealed had scored 2 points).
