In an unusual occurrence for the Os, they kicked off a season with a win. It was a game that happened in three phases. At the beginning, the Os got out to a good start, taking a lead for the beginning of the game. However, Sub! fought back and cut the game to 18-14 at the half.

In the second half, it looked like the Sub! rally would continue and take them to the victory. They stayed neck-and-neck with the Os through much of the second half before an Os rally determined the outcome in favor of the Os. The Os deep bench was likely a determining factor in the outcome of the game. It put the Os into an early tie for first place, just the third time the Os have ever been in that position.

Ophy voting was not very contested. E-Bomb was the clear winner with his 11 points and 9 rebounds. Baby Ian became the youngest O to ever receive a vote (surpassing Kimberly and Sasha). Duggo garnered a couple votes for his new hairstyle. Steve-O also played a solid inside game with 6 points and 7 rebounds pulling him a couple votes as well.
